I've recently noticed that my '08 Accord has been making a clicking noise at the top of the windscreen. At first I thought that it was rain, but I soon realised that it wasn't. It occurs between 60 and 80 and sounds like the click that a geiger counter makes, a couple of clicks per second.

Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Paul it might be the foam on the roof lining.Try pushing up the lining where the noise is coming from to see if it stops.

Could be the plastic windscreen side trims rattling at speed. There is a recall on these at the moment, Honda will replace them free of charge. They work loose over the years, can fly off at high speed, so a safety issue, hence the recall.

Tried pressing the trim, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Thanks for that Rich, looks like I'm going back to the dealers then.

Just looked at the windscreen trim and the passenger side is loose at the top. Funny though, when I put my VIN number in on the Honda site it comes up as clear.
