I have dual zone climate control in my 8th gen and the right hand side vents do not go as cold as on the left hand side. Any idea why?

When on dual each has it's own temp setting?

But set in single zone it will always be colder on the left handside

Fan is behind the glovebox, is it the effect of greater airflow from there to the passenger vents?

Have you measured the vent air temp with a gauge?

I haven't no. It seems like the air flow is equal but the air temp is clearly different.

Am I right in recalling there is sometimes a problem with the linkage from the dash button to the heater valve becoming detached?

Some users have had problems with no heat in winter, so I guess if the linkage is jammed you might get a problem getting it to full cold?

It still varies from hot to cold, just doesn't seem to go as cold as the other side. Didn't have a problem until hot weather.

1st call when was your pollen filter change as this can have a big affect on your AC.
If this don't cure the problem get the system regased
