would the speedo clocks be interchangeable as in would the right millage come up if i put clocks in from a different accord and would the type r ones give me the right speed if i was to fit a set of them in?????????

You would need to get the mileage corrected, I think the speedo might be ok if its not a mechanic type.

I thought that the mileage was stored in the ecu? As the clocks are digital, if you swap them the new ones will pick up the value once they're plugged in.

the mileage is stored on a flash intrgrated circuit (IC) in side the clocks changing the clocks will change the mileage.

if you fit the type R clocks then the speedo will be out. its the signal from the ecu that tells the clocks how much to move the speedo needle. it will look like your going faster than you actuly are going lol

if you where driving at 70mph it would apper like your doing 80mph :( un cool !

you would need to re-calibrate the speedo.
