Hi all, I'm new here so here my first thread...
I have a Honda accord I-dtec 2.2 and I've noticed that the squeaky sound from the clutch master cylinder is one of the common issues with honda. I've ordered a replacement cylinder from ABE, but found out after removing that they were different. In fact, the only difference was the fitment, my original one has a thread in it, the replacement does not. Since the cylinder is the same size, I ***umed it would work if I would get the connector and pin from the previous model to fit anyway, it turns out that the thread on the connector is bigger than the pipe line on mine. So I did a deep clean on my old one and the seals seemed to be fine. But after installing it back on it still squeaks.
Has anyone had the same struggle finding this cylinder? If so, what solution have you guys found? Replace the whole hydraulic line and slave cylinder too?
