Recently I'm hearing a noise when releasing the clutch in first gear, only on a hill. If I release the clutch quicker there is no noise. I'm suspecting it's the release bearing.

The clutch still works fine it's just that noise that I hear once or twice a week.

Do you guys think this can wait until the clutch goes too? This way I can change both at the same time.
Anyone had a similar issue? (My car has about 107.000 miles on the clock).

my clutch release bearing is noisy i'm gonna run it till the clutch fails and the have the clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing all done together.

Yeah, you'll be fine to wait. It'll begin to "howl" before it goes. But the bark, does become annoying when you take off.

I only got 76K out of my clutch (lot of city driving) and I was getting a shudder too on take off.

My 04 stream seems to have little shudder when sitting in the traffic in the first gear before take off, car done 83k, is that indicating clutch too?
