I am currently looking for a fault code P1065 can anyone help me please as to what this code means. My car is currently putting up this code. Thanks

Hi Paddy, I believe this will be a honda specific code, to do with fuel/air/emissions. Quick search on civinfo brings up fuel rail pressure lower than expected. Time for a new Honda fuel filter to start with! Any other problems with the car?

Yup as above. I put it in my iPhone fault code program and nothing, so manufacturer specific. I'd suggest the fuel filter fix first. Use genuine only.

As above, check when you had the fuel filter last replaced.

If replaced recently it could be air in the system or a leak, if not probably best getting it into a Honda dealer so they can run diagnostics on the pump.

Generally speaking the fuel filter will be first culprit and even worth changing (with OEM part not after market) even if you think or have been told it has been changed.

Yes agreed with the above post try replacing fuel filter should be the cheapest option.

Yep - this is a fuel filter problem - did you drive down a dip just before the fuel warning light came on a gunned the engine?

I can get this fault code almost on cue now...

In mine I just think it gets a gulp of air at the wrong moment.

Agree with all the guys that code iv seen on the forum before and im 99% sure it is FF related.

Thanks everyone for replying it is much appreciated. I have replaced the ff twice once by a Honda dealer and then by other. It is still going on to safe mode when you reach 60mph. I have also had the fuel injectors tested, fuel rail sensors tested and one changed, the regulator on the high pressure fuel pump has been replaced by a new one, but we still have the same problem. The only thing that has not been changed is the fuel pump.........Help!!!!!!!!

What order and intervals did you get the FF changed and what is in it at the moment?

The i-CTDI will not tolerate after-market - seriously dude.

If you are on a aftermarket get it changed ASAP. How full was your tank when the light came on?

How handy are you with tools.

Just a thought but there a DIY's for both pre and post facelift fuel filters on here.

Has the car be RE-mapped and if so do you know by which company?

Has the code been reset and come back, or have you just read it from a scanner?

Maybe worth trying some BG244 to clean the fuel system, it is certainly cheaper than a fuel pump,

What mileage is the car?

hi, my car has never been remapped, it has 39k genuine miles, the fuel tank has been removed ad washed out as a precaution but all this to no avail, the bosch agent near me it mystified!

Hi Paddy,

You really need to look at the questions and answer as best you can. We might not have the answer straight away, but every question posed to you is for a reason. We also have a couple of specialists on our board so the more info you can give the better your chances!

Our cars are very sensitive to fuel and oil problems.
