Converting AUTO wipers to INT wipers?

Good day lads, I've got an eccentric goal with my Accord. Because I despise my janky auto wipers, I want to swap them out for the int variant instead. I have managed to found one and fitted it, however the wipers still act like the auto ones?! Is there something I need to change in the computer settings or am I missing something?

Without looking into it too deeply, the rain sensor input should probably be decoupled. Whatever value it inserts, that is what governs the overall speed.

I find auto speed wipers really annoying. To the point that I just operate the wipers with single, manual wipes until it rains enough for full settings.

Disconnecting the rain sensor connector seems to have done the trick! And no DTCs too
Now this makes me wonder if that were to be disconnected, the system falls back to INT function regardless of what's written on the wiper?
Bottom to top where the arrow indicates on the stalk, it wipes at 4, 6, 8, 8, 10, 14 and 14 seconds. Not sure why the repeats, but it would be great if someone could check on theirs.
