Hi

Just got the car back after having a full service, new turbo and intercoooler fitted (it's like a different car now). Driving it home from the garage the engine warmed up fine, but the cabin didn't for about 40 minutes (and only after I gave the throttle a bit of a tickle). Phoned the garage who said it's probably just an air lock and bring it back to them to check/fix - but if it's an easy job I'm quite happy to do it myself. I had a quick look under the bonnet but couldn't see any obvious bleeds. Is there one under the top engine cover? If yes, what should I be looking for?

Thanks.

Steve the way that I bleed the water system is as follows
Start the engine from cold and take off the expansion bottle cap.
Turn on the heaters to max.
Then warm the engine to temp and wait till the fan kicks in.
You will probably see some bubbles of air coming out from the bottel job done.

I don't know which gen you have, but if it's VII then you have bleeding nipple on the engine head under engine cover

btw this may help ;-)
