Coolant

I had my water pump replaced at Honda about 3 weeks ago, they had to drain the cooling system and refilled it.

However I have had to top up with a litre of coolant in about 800 miles ive done since. Is this normal? There is no leaks or anything when the car is left

Gaz keep an eye on this but there was probably some air traped in the system.
Now it's out you will hopefully not see any more loss if coolant

There was probably a minor air lock that's now shifted. Keep an eye on it and if it needs topping up again take it back to the Honda garage and complain!

I'll keep an aye, it just seems to go from just under the max on the bottle to just above the minimum, Trouble is it was done at Newcastle Honda which is 350 miles from me at the minuite :lol: Altho i'm moving back up there in a few weeks

I reckon it could just be air. Monitor it going forward.
