Corrosion on Alloys

I've just bought a 10 plate VTEC ES and 3 of the 4 alloys have significant corrosion. Car still has 2 months manufacturers warranty and has covered 10,000 miles. Should I expect warranty on corroded alloys?

yes u should be ok they changed mine with it. i keep getting it on centre caps aswell.

If there are no signs of kurbin then yes.

There is no sign of curbing at all. I asked the dealer about it today as i dropped off my wife's civic for some corrosion warranty work doing on it. The dealer has submitted a claim. Fingers crossed, I'll update when i get the result, but I will not be happy if Honda don't replace them on a 10 plate car with 10,000 miles on the clock, I mean it's not gone very far to be in that state. Dealer is very good though so i'm optimistic. They really pushed Honda to paint the roof on the civic which rusted due to the windscreen trim rubbing the paint through!

Dealer phoned today, new alloys have been authorized! Honda never disappoints on warranty claims I find.
