Couple of quick questions....

Hi Guys,

Ok so finally found a bit of money to start improving my type S tourer but just have a couple of quick questions if thats ok!


The cubbyhole under the stereo currently is the large door style. Unfortunately its broken so doesn't close now.

I would like to put in the Nav style trim as think it looks a bit smarter and probably more practical. Will this swap over ok?


I have put together a CAI inspired by Stevearcade, unfortunately as Photobucket has destroyed most internet forums I can't see any pictures on how its been done.
Do you have to bolt the CAI down anywhere and if so how do you do this?

If you don't have the DVD drive in your car you will just have a hole behind the top flap..!

Thanks guys, I have gone down a different route and ordered the double din adaptor and also a double din blanking plate. The idea will be to then put a phone mount there so I can use this with the bluetooth adaptor.

As the Type S came with (really bad) "carbon fibre" pattern trim, I have also bought some carbon wrap so it should improve the look.

Any ideas on the homemade CAI?
