Cracked Manifold on my 07 CTDI

My wifes car is showing signs of a cracked exhaust manifold on her 07 CTDI , smelly fumes in the cab and ticking noise from engine from cold start up, it falls in the category under 7 years however the car has now covered 160k miles , its got full service history up to 157k mostly Honda main dealers services and the last 4 independant garages stamps

I know there are lots of posts on this but do you think Honda may knock my claim back because its done over 125k miles and the last 4 sevice stamps are non main dealer Honda sevices

If you contact Honda UK and show you have maintained the vehicle they will pay towards the cost

Tbo with that mileage you are out if any kind of warrenty and will be classed as wear and tear.
It's worth asking the question but don't be disappointed to be knocked back.

Ive just rang a local Honda dealer and they said it wont be covered due to the car covering 160k miles , however my car is still less than 7 years old so so where do I stand with it ?

Gaz its 7years or 125k which ever comes 1st.
