Hi All,

I have a 2004 2.4 Type-S tourer that's new to me.

I've noticed there's a creaking when the rear passenger side wheel bounces or moves. I can emulate the creaking by pushing down on the rear of the car. The car seems to handle fine and it seems more of a creak like a rubber or suspension component is stiff rather than failed. Are there components here that could benefit from some grease?

<edit> It has 65K miles on it and for the last six months it was pretty much sitting idle.

Thanks!!

i'd check the anti roll bar droplinks and the actual bar D bushes too first as they're most likely the cause. If its not them then you need to get the suspension arm bushes looked at and the upper balljoint but so far i've not heard of a rear upper balljoint failure yet

Thanks for the reply. Can you advise as to which components on this diagram are the droplinks? (I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff!) - I think its #7. Also the D bushes, which are they?
