Hi my 2.0 SE has a problem with the cruise control & was wondering if it's common. I select cruise with the switch on the right of the steering column, green light comes on, then hit the SET button on the steering wheel cruise light comes on on dash & is ok for about 2-3 mins then light goes off & cruise disconnects & then wont come back on. It's as if I've braked or accelerated to switch cruise off but haven't touched brake or throttle. There's no fault light illuminated. Any help/thoughts appreciated.

adjust the switch under the brake or clutch pedal by turning it slightly clockwise and your problems will be solved.

try the brake pedal switch first as that is usually the culprit.

I put my foot under the brake pedal and pulled back and my similar problem has never returned
