Hey,
Im going for new shocks, dont tknow what are best option , i can get KYB, Monroo, Bilstein B4. This are know company names that i would go for, other companys are half or even more of the above ones, not sure about the quality of them.
Stock suspenssion is not that confortable - harsh in this poor roads here. Wouldnt minde a bit of confort now and than, but dont minde sporty feeling. OEM too stiff of the price here.
What do you think?

KYB is OEM I believe. Can't go wrong with Bilstein either.

I had KYB

Yes, this two are the ones to go for i think soo too. Think KYB are good , had them on civic 8.gen and i was happy . My wifes V60 has Bilstein oem shocks, car is much more confortable , but than again its a diferent car.

Have you considered Bilstein B6? They are a better shock than the B4 which are pretty good replacement for standard. Not sure they will be adequate replacement for Type S shock.
I don't think B8 is worth going for imho.

Was thinking yah, but problem is , i dont think i can get them here. Could go ebay or something to get them but they wont be here in time .

Yes sometimes they take a while to come from online vendors, especially if they are not in stock and you need them fast.

Just to update this post and will update it when they are fited.
So i got the TRW ones becouse they costed me like 120e for all four of them. Will fit them soon and will get back to u.
Any thoughs on TRWs ?

Quick note for the TRW shocks, they ok nothing wrong with the ride quality, car handles like new, had to change both lower control arms , upper ones , did the alignment.
For 120€ its a great deal, hope they last for few years .
But I hear some clonking sound when going over potholes, things a haven’t changed in the front ( sound is coming from the front) is inner steering links, the thing it connects control arm to the wheel hub ( dont know the word in english )

Balljoint is what the connection from Control arm to hub is called.

Thanks and yes its that ball that wasnt changed :), as i see it needs to be pressed in in tu the hub ?

I have notice that on Amayama site there are two different sets of springs for TypeS turrer, on one set it says INCH UP , probably the other set is lower . But which is standard or how to know what is on the car at the moment?
51401-TL0-B11 (INCH UP) the other one 51401-TL0-B21
Honestly i do feel or it looks like mine is a bit higher on OEM springs no difference to a standard height when i park to a non typeS turrer..
