The cruise main dashboard button, which I never turn off and the headlight adjustment button, which I rarely use are both in easy reach locations.
The front fog light button is stuck down below where you cannot see if it is on or off. Did the designer have a bad day or was it a Friday afternoon job?
Really annoying, I must have a look at swopping these switches round when the weather improves. B)

you could buy a 7th gen. the fog light switch is on the indicator stalk and the cruise buttons are on the steering wheel. happy days.

to answer your query though. yes the fog light switch would have been an after thought as you don't need fogs in Japan. up until fairly recently rear fog lights on Hondas consisted of a nasty fog light incorporated in to the rear bumper. have a look at early Preludes for evidence of this.

I'm still convinced that the chap who designed the button layout inside the 6th gens was pi55ed when he did it.

The button layout in the 6th gen isn't that bad, the designer probably stuck it there because it's an optional extra and you don't really want those "button blanks" on the dashboard if you didn't spec it

I like the layout but i do agree its such a odd place to put the front fog switch hahaha i have been thinking about doing this for ages but have come up with the ultmate plan :D do away with the front fog switch and have the rear 1 control the front fogs B) so press 1 button and get all your fogs on at once.

Surely linking up both fogs to one switch wouldn't be that hard to do mate. just splice and play?

But would it be a problem at MOT time? I thought that front and rear fogs had to have their own switches? Might be worth asking your local mechanic/MOT center.

But Gordon if you were to do that you would be one of those irritating people who has their rear fogs on all the time. especially in the rain. :p

OMG those people drive me mad! its like seen people who are driving duren the day with there front fogs on  and they wonder y i have road rage <_<

i really hope i dont become 1 of them.

i will check with my main MOT'er but shouldnt really as its only the rear fog that counts when getting a MOT
lol so you could have only 1 front fog working and still pass
