Hey..first post here, but I was wondering if anyone had ever put some LED daytime running lights on? How did the fitting go or is there much work to it? I've seen a strip with 20 LED's built in, I mean a proper casing type, not just the sticky strip. I was thinking of getting a set from Ebay been as they're only a few quid and I reckon they'd make a nice addition?
Any thoughts?? :)

Only problem is, the guy that I bought the car off had HID's put in place of the fog lights! So that's no real advantage to me. I wonder what was the problem with the strip lighting?

They look hideous. I am yet to see one car with LED strip lights look decent.
they look like exactly what they are. stuck on trinkets.
leave them to Audi.
There is a Passat down the road from me with after market lights with an LED strip built in and that manages to look Carp as well.
save your few quid and spend it on something else. how about some ambient lighting. it has a purpose and won't look stupid. and costs less than ten quid.

Ledstrips always seem out of place. Even when they come as OEM.

I've seen a solution here in the forum a while back that made the high beams at half the power or something, and always on. I would swallow a solution like that.

Have a look at JavJav's car - another member has done a good job too - have a little searchy searchy :D

Looking at a few tutorials on wiring DRL's on google, but a lot of the Accords are American, is there much work to the wiring them?? AFAIK they only have a + and - wire so it cant be rocket science....I hope? :D I'm just wondering how to go about connecting them up so they turn off when the dipped beams come on?

Yanky Accords are different. You need to be looking at the Acura TSX

Guys I have changed my DRL set up now, I have more OEM looking DRL kits, specially fitted into the bumper, and these are proper DRL lights not cheap eBay kits!

I will do a write up soon... just havent got the time to get some pics, especially with the weather being cr4p! but they look brilliant I must say!
