Dead Bulb Display

Used to have this handy feature on my other Honda's to alert me to dead bulbs, but when I went to my local Honda dealer yesterday, they phoned me up and told me that both front side lights had gone, and wanted to replace them for £5!

When I questioned him as to why they hadn't popped up on the dash as a fault, he said perhaps your model doesn't have this function but wasn't sure, so can anyone confirm whether it should have or not plz?

This is a canbus feature... Not on the 7th gen

isn't that strange why they didn't include this in this high spec model; do you know what year they introduced it as i'm sure one of my other Honda's had it, and that was getting on?

no idea about other Honda's, but Canbus was introduced on the 7th gen facelift Accord

Yes the face lift is 2006+. The pre faclift doesn't even have an MPG computer

I have a 2007 Tourer and I have to be honest, I don't think it has that facility. It's an EX with all the toys except demons ??
