Hi guys,
Did someone do it by himself?
Is there some informations "How to"?
Is it easy or should I go in a specialized garage?
thx by advance

I haven't TBH, but it looks pretty staightforward. I'd imagine the steps would be:

1. Bleed the brake system of fluid
2. Disconnect the brakelines and electric cables from the unit
3. Swap in the new unit
4. Bleed in new fluid
5. Neutralise the VSA

Off ya go!

Big thing would be to make sure that all is torqued correctly on the brake lines. I can look these up later.

Just checked and the process is as above. Also, the torque is 15nm for the flared-nuts.

Hi,
i replaced mine about 4 weeks ago.you don't need to bleed brakes as the pressure in the system isn't big and you gona only lose few drops of brake fluid.
it can be replaced without front bumper being taken out but it is tight as hell.
only problem i came across was power steering hose and i spilled quite a lot of the fluid,so you might actually drain the power steering fluid and it'll make taking out your reservoir and hoses easy job.
it took me 1.5 hrs to take it out and about the same time to put it back in.
after this is done you need to bleed brake system as well.
hope it helps m8
