H'i guys
04tony here from dublin. I've been reading forums on vibrations
I have terrible vibes between 40/60 mph ,first thought drive shafts
but then discovered rear engine mount is kaput.
anybody have experienced this
thank's in advance

if it would be engine mount you'll have vibes all the time in that case I would suggest that bearing on the longer drive shaft have a loose that's why you have this vibes, that's what I reckon.

Welcome along Tony,

Could be various causes, what is the mileage on the car?

Driveshafts or inner CV joints can be an issue and there are a few threads about it on here.

I ***uming you have had the wheels balanced etc.

If the rear mount has gone, then replace it and see what difference it makes.

good morning lads
my car is a 2007 accord diesel gt ,milage is 117,500.
my car is used as a taxi here in dublin
.ihave had the chains done ,the flywheel done ,exhaust manifold done, 2 alternators, 2 batteries + regular servicing by main honda dealer in dublin.
servicing in dublin costs 95 euro +vat at 21.5% per hour so not in a hurry to go back to them .
hence my request for advice .
thank's again for your help.

Engine mounts are not a comon thing to go on these cars.
1st thing and cheapest thing I would do is get all the wheels balanced.
If the problem is still there then other things mentioned above needs to be looked at.

If they say it gone then replace it, not common but on a taxi 1st/2nd pulls could wear rear mount?

Not sure though that will be the cause of vibes at those speeds.
