Hi Guys

I am considering using a Fuel Additive from now on.

Has anyone out there got any advise about this.

Some swear by it, others say it is not worth the money.

I don't do any long runs and even thrash the engine so I thought it might be a good idea to help keep the engine cleaner and thus improve the performance (albeit only slightly)

What manufacturer should I be looking at.

To be honest, fuel additves are really necessary.
Used good quality diesel like v power regularly - the ictdi engine loves it.
 
I use something called DT5 made by Pro-Ma systems for 3years now, I'm not sure about performance, but I get another 50miles out of a tank in my Citroen Dispatch.

I also use the petrol version in my FTO & Pajero and it's made a difference in them, and also when I started using it in the petrol lawnmower it would start first pull in spring!

once a year I use Forte diesel treatment, it's been highly recommended by few mechanics I used

Yep, V power diesel is highly recommended on these engines.
