Hi folks,

Did a quick leak off test today on all four injectors and the fuel rail return too:

Right hand most bottle is the fuel rail return, the other four are the cylinders with the one nearest the offside on the left. This was after running for 5ish minutes, approximately.

Couple of questions then.

How are the cylinders numbered on the 2.2 diesel?

To me, the injector returns look not too bad, they are all pretty similar on this short test.

The fuel rail return is a little more concerning though. Is this symptomatic of the over-pressure valve going south, or is it fairly normal?

Cylinder 1 is closest to the timing chain so drivers side

Thanks Fahad, that's what I thought, good to have it confirmed.

I ran a number of HDS diagnostics on the fuel pressure - most of the time, they fail to complete, but here is a rare one that actually succeeded:

Even though it 'passed', you'll note that the pressure is often in the red - over pressure.

I've ordered up a replacement Bosch F00R001166 Pressure Limiting Valve, hopefully that will go some way towards sorting this one out.

Sounds like the relief valve is duff
