Well more pics added as of 2/6/06...pretty much self explanaitory. I got the bits from Maplin, you need an LED holder..the black thing that the LED is stuck into and you also need a resistor to limit the current to the LED, 2 male bullet connectors and two female bullet connectors (u could use other means ofcourse).

Anymore questions please ask. In my thinking Honda should have put a light in there anyway!
 
i used a potentiometer so I could vary the resistance. The actual resistor you need depends on the specifications of the LED..i.e what voltage is dropped across the LED and what working current you want through the LED. LEDs typically have a max continuous current at about 30mA (so run it at at least half this if you want the LED to last! so 15mA) ***uming that the voltage dropped is around 1.3V then to work out the resistor use:


resistor = (Voltage from the Battery - voltage dropped across LED(1.3)) / Working current (15mA or less)


The resistance I set was about 550ohms.
