When I had an issue with mine some years back it was in the region of £1600 plus fitting from Honda, a none OEM was £1000 and a remove-clean refit with a life time warranty was £650. I had it cleaned and not had any issues since. Mine was an 09 2.2 iDtec.

Please don’t use an aftermarket dpf, they’re expensive for a reason. Aftermarket dpf’s have substandard materials and are susceptible to blocking up prematurely and causing even more problems, I’ve seen this time and time again. If you’re going to replace it, use a new Genuine Honda item only.

Previous owner of my car had fitted an aftermarket dpf didn't last very long. I would just get it removed, in fact I did and never had an issue since.
