Honda Accord 2011
Hi, I have been trying to get my honda accord dpf issues, the light won't go off from the dash.
Following jobs have already been carried out:
1. New after market dpf
2. New battery
3. New thermostat
4. 4 times dpf regeneration
5. New sensors on the dpf

I have been to different garages for fixing but still the dpf light come back.
The PM value on the new dpf is 36.0 g
I have also been to honda for diagnosis and they have told me to get a genuine dpf but it doesn't make any sense. The after market one is barnd new one though. I don't know what else needs looking into my car.
Can someone please help me out? Thank you.

I had dpf issues with mine, had an aftermarket dpf that wasn't very old and was knackered. If you want to keep a dpf (expensive and not the choice I made) Honda is only place I would buy one from.

An aftermarket dpf will give you worse problems than a used genuine item (as you’re probably finding). Aftermarket units are cheap for a reason, they use substandard materials which don’t create the right conditions for the dpf to be able to run the correct regeneration strategy.
