Drivers door switches

would the drivers door switch of a Civic fit an Accord? I'm thinking of the civic switch that has the extra button in it to turn the mirror heaters on and off. my wifes civic was a Y plate, my accord a 52 plate but the switches look the same apart from she being able to turn the heaters on and off
would this be an easy think to do? I see no point in having the mirror heaters on in summer.
Seen on another forum that they connected the mirror heaters to the rear window circuit so the mirror heaters only came on when the rear screen heater was on.

I would doubt it but theres no harm in trying I suppose.
Worst case scenario id say is a blown fuse,fingers crosssed!
