Hey lads can anyone tell me if they make ds2500 ferodo for 7th gen i-ctdi accords and if so where can i buy em? was looking at getting EBC but not liking the reviews, and standard barkes are suffering heat fade alot so need something bit better and heard nothing but good things about ferodo ds2500, Cheers

The pads for 7th gen are the same across the range (except euro r), do ferodo not list any for the 7th gen?

Ferodo don't make DS2500 for 7th gen, only Premier Pads, I've been on the same hunt and sent Ferodo an email so the info is direct from them

Damn, any1 know of any other good pads?

I think the real problem is lack of that second pot up front...no amount of tweaking with different discs and pads will solve that IMHO...ATR calipers and carriers FTW....but it is a mod and mods have insurance implications.

Ya twin pots would make a huge difference but only if your using your car on track days, the brakes I have are good, I hit the brakes the car stops dead, but it's just the brake fade which is what I need to sort really

it's better to use twin pot caliper with oem pad, than one pot caliper with performance pad, that's my opinion, I've tried 3 different setups, and unless if you're not buying wilwood/spoon or other 4pot or more caliper, then I would chose ATS over ATR,as there are bigger calipers, pads and discs, so more friction means more efficient stopping ;)

I can confirm that it is possible to get the ds2500 pads on the accord.

I know this because I am currently running bremtech discs and ds2500 pads all round on the OEM single pot calipers and they are truly amazing :D!

No fade at all and the hotter they get the better they work! Had mine more than a year and the pads and discs look new. Pads have barely gone down and I drive like a lunatic lol

Sweet man, where did u get the pads from and how much they cost ya?

I'm also interested to know this as Ferodo themselves tell me they're not available but they if they are I am interested as long as they are a direct fit

Hi lads, completely forgot to reply!

Anyways call Andy at VtecDirect and tell him Hamid sent you :)!

Cheers Hamid. Must check these out. Was considering a dc5 setup but I just can't justify the cost.
