Hi there, sorry if this has already been posted but I recently cleaned out my EGR valve with brake cleaner and WD40 and ever since I done this my car goes into limp mode, it throws the code for (EGR Valve stuck open). I tried clearing the code but to no avail. Is there any chance that I can manually close it? The limp mode will reset after turning it off and on again.

Not really I’m afraid, and these can’t really be cleaned. It’s a sealed unit. The issue is more likely to be a slightly warped plunger rod causing it to either stay stuck open or slow operating.

Thanks for the reply F6HAD is this also true for the pneumatic type EGR valve which is the type that's on my accord?

I recommend you allow F6HAD to carry out the permanent solution. You will NOT be disappointed !!
