Engine Bay Area Cover

Hi

Could somebody confirm whether the cover that comes under the car below the engine bay area comes in one part or two, the reason I ask is a friend of mine who was cleaning my engine bay area stated that one of the covers below the engine bay area is missing, hence the reason why it was dirty!

Didn't he give you more of an idea what he was talking about ?

there are two as far as I am aware - the main one, and the little diddy one that covers the sump plug.

There is the big one under the engine, which has a little access panel (about 6 inches square) for doing oil changes.

This one is the top cover which I have, he was on about the cover which Matt is on about. The question is if it is missing, can I pick one up from somewhere??? or is it something that I can go without?

Apologies Dan, I have realised you are also on about the sump plug cover Matt is on about.

What i will try to do is get a pics if i can of below the car and we can determine what is missing.

I doubt its the end if the world to be without... certainly not worth buying a new one... try the breakers.
