Hi my 8th gen accord tourer has the engine management light on the fault code appearing is turbo sensor out of position, apparently there was a call back on faulty sensors so I booked my car in today at a local honda and they told me that is not the fault and they don't know what the problem is any ideas would be much appreciated cheers

I know exactly what this is. Have a look through the premier tuning Facebook pages you will see an album relating to idtec turbo decoking.

Your turbo vanes are clogged due to DPF failing and the actuator can no longer pull the vanes to the requested position and therefore achieve the correct boost.

The fact that a dealer can't diagnose this is worrying as a simple functional test with the HDS can identify this.

My advice would be to remove DPF, blank egr and whilst the DPF is off we can free up the actuator and check the turbo for play.

Worst case would be a full turbo strip down and thorough decoking.

Drop me a line for pricing and to discuss further.
