Engine Revs jump in 5th and 6th gear at 2,000rpm

Hi,

I have a 2009 8th Gen Accord 2.2iDTEC EX and I notice that when under hard aacceleration in 5th & 6th gear that the revs will jump at 2,000rpm up to 2,500rpm and fall back. However when I brought it back to the dealer under warranty he said it definitely wasn't a slipping clutch and said it was fine.

Is there anything else it could be?

Does sound like a slipping clutch. Does the traction light flash at all?

Sounds like dealer trying to avoid the issue.

Yep take it back to dealer and get them to change the clutch and check DMF as well
