Engine swap

Hi all

Just been given a b18 engine out of a civic vti.

Basicly would the head fit onto my block without to many moddifications. I also have a p28 ecu ready to be fitted and instaled.

which b18 engine? the vti comes with a b16a2 which is only 159bhp so if it has a b18c/c4/c6 it will have been swapped

and the head will only fit onto another b series block

The b18c4 around 180 bhp

So from what your saying I'll need to put the complete engine in !

yeh, the c4 comes in the aerodeck civic, good wee engine, low compression so its used for turbo applications!

yeh, afraid so buddy...

I don't think is a direct fit, usually accord engine fit on a civic with custom mounts....so vice versa goes the same way! What you can do is put the h22 head on this engine, and maybe the tranny of the b18, but you will end up doing allot of custom work!

As has been said, the B or C will not fit as a replacment from the F20.

I looking into engine swaps for my last 6th gen (F20B6) and was informed (by Hond-R) that the only engine that will go in is the H22.

Ok no worries thanks for the replys. I'll just have to buy a p28 ecu and get her remapped
