I have a 2005 Honda Accord Tourer Estate, that has I ***ume the standard 16" alloys.

I want to replace these with some penta's and through a little bit of digging it seems Enkei produced the OEM Honda penta wheels, that look like the ones in this picture:

I've had a look on eBay and there seems to be the odd one being sold, but my questions are:

1. Would anyone recommend buying these individually from eBay / Gumtree etc as and when they come available until I get a set? I was planning on getting them all refurbished when I had a set so they all look the same and look their best.

2. Is there anywhere I can just purchase a set of these new?

3. Do I need to be concerned about the size, or can I just switch out my existing wheels for these? I'm slightly confused as most places seems to talk about Civic with these wheels rather than the Accord. I'm hoping 17" won't cause any issues.

Sorry if these questions seems stupid, but this is all new to me!

The pentas are 17" so you will also need a new set of tyres. Don't know where you can get an entire set (breakers maybe?) but getting single ones off ebay should be fine - especially since you intend to have them all refurbished.

I have goodyear eagle f1s on mine and they are very good

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, know about the tyres. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll take a look

Oddly enough an entire fully refurbished set appeared on ebay today so bought them. Cost was £390, which I think I'm happy about seeing as a refurb was quoted at 280. Factoring in the cost of the wheels themselves I'm sure I've made a saving there...

£280 for 4 wheels getting refurbished is a bit steep, especially if you're walking into the shop with only the rims. £200 is what I paid for my 4 wheels at an alloy wheel specialist. However, I still think you've saved money overall!

Think the costs vary depending on area as well as a few local places central Scotland was 150-200 for a set extra ten per wheel to remove and refit tires.

But for that money in mint condition is still good even getting a set for 200 and then 200 to refurb. Still less hassle mate

Well done on the new purchase :) Get some snaps up !!! I've always said I wished the Penta alloys had come as 18"s on the 7th Gen. 17"s won't cause any issues.

Looking forward to receiving these and getting them on, although I need to source the actual wheel nuts from somewhere as the guy selling the alloys doesn't have them. I could just put the existing ones on I ***ume (?!) , although they'll be the wrong colour of course... I could spray them gunmetal gray perhaps, but that seems like a bit of a bodge it and fix it... Looked on eBay etc, but they don't seem to be that easy to track down. Perhaps I should just try Honda direct?

Wheels finally arrived and when I took them out to take a look they were in a great conditions, but seems they are actually Commodore alloys! They have HONDA stamped on them as well, so ***ume they are just the same style different alloy producer. Still happy with them and can't tell the difference between these and pictures of Enkei's so no idea if one is better than the other. Would have thought there would have been a standard penta option rather than lots of different providers, but what do I know eh?! :)
