EPS warning light

Hi,
I have the EPS warning light/indicator on permanently on my accord (2008 idtec)

What might cause this?

Is it a job for honda HDS?

Yes you need to retrieve the diagnostic trouble code first. Doesn’t have to be a HDS, a decent garage diagnostic tool will work

Hi F6HAD,

I have an autel code reader, which I connected, and there are no codes present. Would you think this may not read all codes, or if there was a code present for EPS should any OBD2 reader display it?

If it’s a simple code reader then no it won’t work, you need a professional garage level system that can interrogate all modules, not simply the engine module.

Just to update this, it was the yaw rate sensor that was at fault
