Hi, I understand you may have seen this topic many times before but just need to make a couple of things clear. VSA light and /!\ symbol are illuminated whilst car is on and VSA OFF switch doesn't do anything anymore. Dashboard shows 'VSA check system' message upon starting. The ABS light however does NOT illuminate. Had it diagnosed as the above fault (66-01), before purchasing a refurbished unit can anyone confirm if this is the VSA Module or the ABS pump as i've read a fair few topics and people seem to be buying one or the other. Brake lights are working fine too so i'm not convinced that the brake pedal switch is at fault (oh how I wish it was for the cost and ease of replacement haha). Reasonable prices for both refurbished from ecutesting.com with lifetime guarantees but would rather buy the correct unit in the first place. Thanks

It's the same unit on these cars mate and 66-1 guaranteed failure.

You will need someone to calibrate the replacement unit once fitted most likely.

Okay awesome I will order it tomorrow, definitely needs doing as MOT is due soon.

Also I used to work for a car dealership and the mechanics used a snap-on diagnostics machine to find the fault, would they be able to calibrate the module using the snap-on equipment or would it need to be specific honda equipment?

Some snap on units have secret menus allowing special functions for calibration but I couldn't say which ones.

I have a Honda system that can do it if needed but you would need to get to me or I could do as part of a remap.
