Folding rear seats in 04 Exec with leather?

Hi guys,

I've done a search on the forum and can't find anything - Does anyone know how to fold the rear seats? I can see that there is a latch above the rear right and left seats but can't seem to move it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the saloon, go into the boot. At the top of the seat backs, underside of the rear shelf are two fabric loops. Pull the fabric loops to release the seat backs. HTH

correct , its also a nice feature as if some one breaks in to the car they cant get in to the boot if you have locked the latch

Yep rob as the guys said above.Its also handy for carrying long stuff in the boot.

That's great - thanks guys. Yes the idea is so that I can put long stuff in the car. Escape hatch is a very handy idea - glad these Japanese are so quirky
