From Manual to Automatic heater control? Is it hard?

Happy New Year to everyone

I would like to have the automatic heater control unit in my 99 Honda Accord 2.0i LS(Denmark) instead of the Manual heater control unit i have at the moment.

Is it possible to do that without to many modifications.

If one of you have done it before i would like to know what it takes to do the swap.

you mean retro fitting climate control? i cant imagine that being easy or financially worthwhile, you would probably be best to get a car with it as standard.

It's apparently a monumental task. Which when you consider it's a completely different dashboard wiring loom to accommodate the many additional climate control motors you can sort of understand.

There was a guy on the ATR forum who tried to do it last year but he gave up after a while and admitted defeat.

Do you know if it is hard to move the manual heater control unit down to where the clock and the small compartment normally are?

That can be done. I had it there with a double din headunit in the top section in my old ATR.
