Front Brake Pads

Hi,

I'm getting a audible drumming sound from the brakes on my Accord 2.4 Type S under braking from speed. I've had a look at the pads, seems like there's plenty still on but thought I'd change them anyway.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which pads would be best and where to get them from?

I have had good experiences with Pagid pads.

I vote for Pagids as well. I get them from EuroCarParts when they have an offer on (or I have a promo code).

But I don't see why you're fitting new ones if the old ones have plenty of life left... this may simply be the sliders sticking?

Looking through the wheel, they still look like there's plenty on but need a closer look to be sure.

Brake pedal hasn't got much travel which usually means worn pads, that's why I wanted to change them.

Hard to judge pad wear on brake pedal feel alone. Proper way is wheel off and inspect inner and outer pad for thickness. Check disc at the same time for lip, pitting, scoring etc.
