Hi all,

Has anyone fitted front parking sensors, and if so, do you have any tips on how to get the 4 sensor cables into the cabin to connect to the 'brain' box?

I've used the main loom grommet that feeds in behind the glovebox before to get power to my sub but am not confident I could squeeze 4 more cables through there, especially considering they all have flimsy little square-shaped plugs on the end.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thx.

Thats the only one I know of, you can drill a new hole and use a grommet or if the plugs can be dissected run them through and connect back up, or cut wires resolder other side.

Does it have a seperate buzzer?

I wouldn't want to risk dismantling the plugs. Can't say drilling appeals either as I'd be worried about a.) drilling through something I shouldn't, and b.) causing rust.

Yes, it has a seperate buzzer. It's sold as a 8 sensor, front and back system but in reality is just a front kit and a back kit. In fact, it was 1p more expensive to buy together than seperately!

There's a rubber grommet behind the passenger wheel arch liner you can go through then just tap into the main wiring loom for the power feed.

Install the box under bonnet, and feed the buzzer into the cabin.

Are they rst type connectors, then feed them one by one. you be fine.

i dont see the point of parking sensors, i have no use for them.

if you are a competent driver you should not need any sensors at all., things like abs, traction control and 20+ air bags are fine though :p :)

I agree totally but mine came with rear ones and you just get used to having them and its that much easier getting into the tightest of spaces but no biggy really. Fitted some on my mates car today.
