Does anyone else find that when they brake hard their drivers and or front passenger seat seems to rock forwards? Anyone got a fix for this and guide?
Thanks

Yeah, mine also rocks forward slightly. Not had chance to look at it, you could possibly look at tightening the bolts holding the top half of the seat to the bottom. Or you could use it as an excuse to fit some nice Recaro's! :)

Yep I get this as well, it's the rubber bushes that are worn/split that causes it. If you turn it 90 degrees you will find the seat slides sideways when cornering instead. Mine has started to slide forward again now so the bushes have probably gone completely. I haven't seen that guide for the Civic before but I can't see the photos at work so will look at it later. I was going to get some replacement bushes or grommets to see if I could fix it.

Yeah I read that too. If you do manage to get replacement bushes please let us know where from and sizes. The problem with the guide in the above link is that the seat height function can be affected apparently.

I've had a look at that guide and it's not the same on the Accord, it's a different part. But we do have a Civic with the same problem so I'll try this on that seat.

This is the thread I did with a photo - http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/16167-seats-sliding-when-brakingcornering-hard/

Turning the bush round lasted for 6 months or so but it's getting worse so I need to sort it out properly now. I didn't measure the bush when I removed it but then I didn't have any calipers neither. I have a pair now so I'll probably remove it on the passenger seat (it does the same but not as bad), measure it and try to replace them.
