I don't think they need changing that often like a diesel.Not being a petrol head i would say its near the fuel tank on the fuel line.But see what the petrol guys say to confirm.
It is inside fuel tank, looks like a net.

its a bit fiddly to do so i would suggest only a confident diy mechanic tackles one of these filters. its all to easy to miss somthing and you could easily end up with running problems. its accesable in the boot.
