Fuel flap / boot release cable

Hi guys,

I'm new to forum and accord ownership so hoping someone can help out? (Car is 98 Coupe)

My Fuel flap / boot release cable has frayed and no longer working. I cant seem to find any info but am I right to ***ume its the same as the saloon in terms of mechanism and length etc...>?

There's one on ebay for saloon and both ends / dual handle etc.. all look right but need it for my coupe and I;m not paying eighty odd pound from honda just for a cable!

Does anyone know if it will work?

I would check on lings honda to see if part number is same remove_pfk form address bar to get honda part number not sure if they 1998
