Groaning noise from clutch

Good morning,

When I turn the key in the ignition when the lights show up there is this groaning noise from the clutch which lasts about 5 seconds and once the car is started the noise disappears.

Anyone ever experienced this issue? Was told that the clutch was replaced last year but there are issues with the pedal being very stiff also.

how do you know it's coming from the clutch ?

If the engine is not running and the noise is there then doubt its the clutch.
