So coming from the civic type r, where the Gruppe m induction kit it pretty much the top mark for induction I'm looking for the equivalent for my accord. What are you guys using? Read abit about the K and N typhoon? I found them to make an amazing noise but not much in the way of gains, is it the same on the accord?
To be honest your best bet for the 2.4 is either the short ram AEM kitm or the Long Ram Typhoon. The Typhoon will give the better power gains on the K series engine, but the AEM does sound a little throatier.
You can get a gruppe m or a mugen intake box for the CL9 but you're looking at a £800-£1000 spend im sure. They're not like the ep3 fitment though were they take an air feed from the top of the bonnet through the scuttle panel. These ones take a feed from the lower centre grill. A cheaper option of a cold air sealed box is the comptech icebox but you dont get much induction noise of that. Reasonable budget wise its really either a short ram or a cold air intake to choose from
