Bought a headlamp restoring kit cuz my my lamps were in a pretty poor state. Did what it said on the box and was stunned with the results. What do you reckon??

That's a stunning result dude!!!! Bet you're well chuffed!!!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that kit cost?

Usually it's about £50 but it was in the bargain bin so I got it for just a tenner. When I've had to do it to other cars in the past I've just used toothpaste and elbow grease which did the job but nowhere near as good as this kit B)

Is that on glass or plastic? Sorry I'm in a 7th gen so not sure about 6th gens'

is it like a T-Cut compound?

Looks like i'll be keeping an eye out in the local motorspares for a kit like that one!

The lamps on mine are plastic. The cutting paste is like a very fine version of G3(t-cut just gouges everything, I avoid it like the plague). In the kit there are two pads with 4 different grades of wet and dry. 800, 1000, 1500 and 2000 grit. I used the paste on the mop, then the pads always keeping everything wet, then back to the paste and mop as directed.
The cheaper option would be to buy a sheet of those grades wet and dry, then use Arm & Hammer toothpaste(it's the best I found) on a microfibre cloth or sponge. Then buff off with a clean cloth, job done!!
