Headlight adjustment on 2004 CTDI Estate

Hi all

Now the dark nights are here I have noticed my drivers headlamp is hopeless and puts practically no light on the road- both headlights have quality H1's in them.

Besides the electric adjustment in the car, how on earth do i adjust them up/down/left/right?? I can see on the top of the headlight symbols to turn something but all i can see are the big rubber bonnet strike plugs that screw in the top of the headlight - and since Im a muppet, i thought they adjusted them!!! (and if they do...they didnt!)

Want them to be safe but at present dont have the time to go into a garage - can someone tell me if im missing something? i.e. do they adjust somehow by removing the panel clips which sit above them or am i being blind?!!!

Update- finally- the video shows 2 points to put the screwdriver

Adjusting side to side isnt a problem as the screwdriver has something to grip on

Trying to adjust up and down is impossible because there is nothing to grip inside the plastic hole with the screwdriver!!

There's a geared cog in the "plastic hole". If you find there's nothing to adjust, then the screwdriver isn't big enough to catch the cogs OR they are broken.
