Headlight problem.

The offside HID failed - it went yellow then died. I've always had condensation problems with the headlights but the main beams always worked fine during the last two years.

So I took my car down to the garage to fit new ballasts and lights OEM style. Had the bumper removed, headlights removed, all snugly fit.

This time the nearside light turned yellow and died soon after the install. There's lots of condensation again, but the offside light works fine so I'm not sure if it's water or something else causing it.

I might as well get my headlights changed. Do the pre-facelift headlights fit the facelift models?

Yep, the pre and facelift lights are interchangeable.

But you mention that you've HIDs - the 2.2 Diesel didn't come with HIDs. I ***ume when you mean OEM style, you mean you've fitted the aftermarket ballast below the headlight??
