Heated seat not working

My passengers side heated seat works fine, but my drivers heated seat doesn't work the light comes on when I press the button, but no heat... Any ideas why one works and not the other... Many thanks...

Check the fuse or if its ok then the element might be faulty

Pure guess here. But maybe fuse? And check the connections.

Apart from that I can't really help. Sorry.

It will be the element under the leather. The only fix is to remove the leather and solder some wire where the element has split.

Don't they both run off the same fuse? The lights for them run off the dashboard lights circuit, but I thought the heat bit for both seats were on the same circuit. My guess would be that the heated wire is broke. No biggie - seat out, pull seat cover off and have a look. Solder new section in if needed. There's a guide somewhere on the net that shows you how.
