My CRV which uses same engine as the accord 2.2 ictdi just flashed the oil light and its then gone off, now I last serviced it using Gulf Formula G 0W30 however itll take 4-5 days for one of them to arrive again, could I use any other branded 0W30 for a top up? And which one?

If you are going to do a complete oil change when the new lot arrives, then IMO a litre of a cheap equivalent from Halfords would be ok.

If you don't intend to do a complete oil change, then IMO a litre of an expensive equivalent from Halfords should be ok.

Thanks Freddo will do the 1ltr of expensive oil
