HFT Question

Is there a publicly-available up-to-date list of which phones will work with the HFT system? Or, since this probably isn't realistic, any other way to work out whether a new handset is likely to work with the HFT?

what phone are you thinking of getting? i would think that aslong as you have bluetooth then it wouldnt be a problem as my HFT does not link with the phone contacts it only activates when a call comes in or if i have entred and saved the number under a name in to the car,

LG S310. I asked because we have 3 bluetooth-enabled handsets in the house of different ages, but only one of them (Samsung Tocco Lite) works with the HFT. The others (Motorola V3, old Nokia) don't.

It looks as though the 8th gen cars have a much more user friendly system compared to the 7th gen. In fact I think the HFT is the worst feature on my car.

On the 8th gen once the phone book has been transfered to the car do you touch the name you want to call on the screen or do your have to ask the system "call fred blogs" for instance?

i agree about the hft not being very good it took me ages to put my numbers in to the car as the car does not pick the contacts from the phone, also that the only way to dial a number which is not saved you have to say it which when doing 70mph can get very fustrating as it gets numbers wrong (normally the last one) also how the have manged to put a touch screen system in but it does nothing when using the hft (when in the audio screen)


P.s i have a nokia E72 and it works
